Sunday, November 4th. 

8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.   Seniors $6, Adults $7, Children (under 8) $5.

On Sunday November 11th, Michael James Mette will be sharing his music at Immaculate Conception Parish in Maplewood, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Michael is a Catholic performing artist who travels the country with his wife of 18 years, Michelle and their seven young children : Gabby (14), Trinity (13), Charity (11), Cecilia (10), Michael Jr. (8), Truman (3), and Fidelity (1). His music is a modern reflection of his faith blending alternative rock with faith based lyrics.  The concert will be 90 minutes and will include performances from the whole family, lights, video, music and testimonies. Please consider attending the concert and supporting this ministry. The Mette Family will also be providing the music for our weekend Masses. Please join us in praying with them at the 4:00 pm Saturday Mass, November 10th, or the 8:30 am Sunday Mass, November 11th.

The IC Welcoming/Marketing Committee had our 2nd meeting on September 5th.  We decided to continue our informal gatherings after the 2nd Saturday and Sunday masses of the month since the first few have been successful. 

The gathering schedule will be:     

Saturday, October 13 after 4:00pm mass: Meet at Schlafly’s outdoor tent for drinks/appetizers.

Sunday, October 14 after 8:30am mass: Meet at Foundation Grounds for coffee/breakfast—invite all PSR parents/guardians!!

Sunday, November 4 after 8:30am mass: Meet in the IC Gym for the Ladies Auxiliary pancake breakfast

Saturday, November 10 after 4:00pm mass: Gather in the  Rectory for a “card party” — bring a drink or snack to share

WELCOME TO IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH IN MAPLEWOOD, MISSOURI!

 

Everyone is Welcome!  We have a seat for you!

 

The Welcoming/Marketing Committee has organized gatherings on the 2nd weekend of every month.  On Saturday, July 14th we will meet at the Maplewood Pool after the 4pm Mass. (You will be responsible for your own entry fee).  On Sunday, July 15th we will meet at the Ryan Hummert Park Pavilion after 8:30am Mass. (Bring your own snacks/drinks or purchase at Stone Spiral Coffee Shop.)  Looking ahead to August, we will meet on Saturday, August  11th at Mr. Wizards after 4pm Mass.  (You will be responsible for purchasing your own ice cream).  On Sunday, August 12th we will meet at the Green Space/Sutton Loop Park after the 8:30am Mass.  (Bring your own snacks/drinks or purchase at Strange Donuts or The Living Room.)  We hope to see you at one or more of these gatherings.

The Parish has one Saturday and one Sunday Mass.  The coordinator would be responsible for organizing and planning weekend music with the music planning group.  Experience and education in liturgical music is essential.  The ability to play the piano and organ, and cantor is preferred.  Availability to participate in Saturday evening or Sunday morning Masses and funerals as needed.
