Happy November!  Join us at Immaculate Conception for daily mass every Monday thru Friday at 8:00am in our Daily Mass Chapel, on Saturdays at 4:00pm and on Sundays at 9:30am.

Important dates to remember!

November 7: Last Knights of Columbus BBQ of the year!! 10:00am – 6:00pm at the Maplewood Shell Station on the corner of Big Bend and Manchester.

November 8: Mass of the Bereaved Join us at the 9:30am mass to remember all our deceased loved ones.

November 8: Green Social Seniors are invited to this FREE lunch and bingo from 12:00 – 3:00pm in the IC gym.  RSVP to Anne Arias in the office (645-3307) if you plan to attend.

November 14: Lector Training for New and Seasoned Lectors A training and refresher for new and seasoned lectors will be held from 8:30 – 10:30 am in Church.  This will be led by Ellen and Tom Simmons.  This is open to any youth and adult parishioners who are interested.  Please contact Anne Arias at the rectory office to sign up as soon as possible.  Come and develop your skills and gift of proclaiming the Word.  You are greatly needed!

November 14: Thanksgiving Grocery Drop Off 3:30 – 4:30pm SVDP Thanksgiving Groceries 2015

November 15: Thanksgiving Grocery Drop Off 9:00am – 12:00pm SVDP Thanksgiving Groceries 2015

November 22: Thanksgiving Grocery Give-Away – Volunteers are needed from 9:00 – 11:00am to help setup the gym and from 2:00 – 4:00pm to help give-away the groceries.

November 26: Thanksgiving Mass at 9:00am  – Bring an item of food from your meal to be blessed and bring cash or food donations for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

November 29: Kick off your Advent at our Annual Advent Wreath Making Potluck at 4:00pm in the gym– Bring a dish to share and your wreath base (let the staff know if you need a wreath base).  We will share a meal, make our wreaths (greens, candles and ribbon provided by IC), and participate in a short wreath blessing service.

October 3: Ladies Auxiliary #903 Indoor Yard Sale – 8:00am-1:00pm in the gym.  There will also be a bake sale with all proceeds going to support our SVDP Food Pantry.

September – with the fall comes change at IC

Welcome to Immaculate Conception Church in Maplewood, MO!  Proudly serving Maplewood Catholics for 111 years!

It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Fr. Jim Gray, who has served our community as well as the Barnes Jewish Hospital community for the last 10+ years. We wish him the best at his new home in Overland, MO at St. Jude Parish.

We welcome Fr. John Paul Hopping and Fr. Tony Anike who will be serving our parish as well as St. Luke the Evangelist parish in Richmond Heights.
Daily Mass is back to normal!!  Mass at 8:00am, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Welcome to Immaculate Conception Church in Maplewood, Missouri!  We would love to share the Eucharist with you at one of our weekly masses; Monday – Friday at 8:00am in the Daily Mass Chapel, Saturday at 4:00pm and Sunday at 9:30am.

Please join us in wishing Fr. Jim well, in his new assignment to St. Jude’s Parish.  We will be hosting “hospitality” in the gym following both masses the weekend of August 22 and 23.  Bring a card with “well wishes and thank you’s” for Fr. Jim.  Let’s fill the church for both masses!!

PSR Registration is taking place the entire month of August.  See the PSR page for more details.  We will not be accepting registrations on the first day of class, September 13th, so please register during August.  Registrations are accepted at mass, at the rectory, by mail, or by email at

Masses for the Feast of the Assumption will be on Friday, August 14 at 7:00pm and Saturday, August 15 at 8:00am.

Do you want to get to know each other better?  We are hosting our first of several IC Socials on Friday, August 28 from 7-9pm in the gym.  Bring a snack and drink to share.  There will be tables set up for those who want to socialize and also space for the kids to run and play.  We hope to see you all there!

Welcome to Immaculate Conception Church in Maplewood, Missouri!  We would love to share the Eucharist with you at one of our weekly masses; Monday – Friday at 8:00am in the Daily Mass Chapel, Saturday at 4:00pm and Sunday at 9:30am.

Saturday, July 11th, we are hosting professional Square Dance Caller Bo Semith at our first IC Square Dance.  Join us in the Parish Hall from 7-9pm.  Entry is free, but bring a snack to share.  We will provide water and sodas and a limited supply of Schlafly beer.

Also, on July 11th and 12th we will host Mission Co-Op speaker, Fr. Ignatius Cetoute, from the Archdiocese of Castries, St. Lucia, West Indies at both weekend liturgies.  Please introduce yourself to Fr. Cetoute and welcome him to IC!

All who participate/serve in any ministry (Eucharistic Ministers, PSR Teachers, Lectors, Ushers, Sacristans, etc.) are invited to the Ministry Day of Reflection on July 18th at the LaSalette Spirituality Center from 8:30am-1:00pm.  Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to Anne in the office so that we can get an accurate lunch count.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry is always looking for Saturday volunteers from 9:30-11:00am.  If you have a free Saturday morning, come join us in serving our Maplewood and Richmond Heights neighbors.

As the school year winds down and people begin to think about relaxation, please be sure to include Immaculate Conception in your summer plans!!  We have mass every Monday through Friday at 8:00am, Saturday at 4:00pm, and Sunday at 9:30am.

Congratulations to our PSR Students who received Sacraments this Spring!
Caroline Barron, Kyle Pousosa, and Logan Sabourin received the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 3rd at the Cathedral Basilica.
Caleb Bircher, Sierra Long, Sadie Murphy, Carleigh Nations, Brenna Patterson, William Puckett, Lorelei Simmons, and Tess Simmons received their First Eucharist on April 26th.

Congratulations to Joseph Bates for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 4th at the Easter Vigil! Not only did Joe become a new Catholic, but he was honored by throwing out the first pitch at Catholic Family Night at Busch Stadium on April 15th.  What a great night for Joe.
