MEETING HILIGHTS
The April business meeting of Ladies Auxiliary #903 was called to order at 6:50 p.m. by President Kathy Lubbers. All Officers were present. After opening prayer and pledge, Recording Secretary Sarah Lawrence read the minutes from March business meeting, after one minor correction minutes were approved by all. Group discussions were about The Indoor Sale, Convention, The Scrapbook, and Collection for the Feinstein Challenge for Immaculate Conceptions Saint Vincent DePaul Society, The Concerts in the Park, and the slate of proposed Officers for the next Fiscal Year. Member Heidi Barks reported she and member Maria Gray are working to present a budget proposal for the next fiscal year. Meeting closed with prayer and prayers for the sick. Following the meeting our Birthright Baby Shower was held.
BIRTHRIGHT BABYSHOWER
After our business meeting Our Annual Birthright baby shower was held. Member brought food, and drinks to share with our guests, and gifts galore for birthright. Member Virginia Rafferty filled her trunk and backseat with donations to deliver to them. Linda Amend did a wonderful job with the games and prizes. Everyone laughed and enjoyed themselves. Thanks to everyone for an evening filled with fun.
FEINSTEIN CHALLENGE
As previously mentioned a collection was made for the Feinstein Challenge at both the March and April Meeting and then our treasury doubled our gifts and a donation total of $84.00 was made to be placed in the hands of the Saint Vincent DePaul where they will see to it that the money will be doubled and most importantly be put to good use. Thanks to everyone for your support.
SCRAPBOOK
The scrapbook for 2011-2012 is the hands of Vice President Connie Evans for the daunting task of labeling and arranging by April27, 2012 for Kathy and Eileen to take to convention. Many thanks to those who helped make pages and showed me emotional support during my struggle with the book.
CONCERTS IN THE PARK
Concerts in the Park start next month. Donations of canned soda and 16.9 oz bottled water are needed. Member Karen Bish has supplied us with chips to get us started. Donations can be brought to our next meeting May 16 at the KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL 7318 Manchester road. Doors open at 630p.m. We will meet Tuesday May 22 at the hall in the p.m. to ice down the drinks and load the vans. Please mark your calendars and lend a hand, either ice down or working at the table or both. The first concert will be May 23, at Ryan Hummert Park, corner of Zephyr at Lyndover in Maplewood. Please watch your email for specific times.
INDOOR SALE/ SAINT VINCENT DEPAUL BAKE SALE
The Indoor sale is fast approaching only 2 weeks away, not many tables sold yet, talk it up and call Linda Amend to get your tables. We will set up Friday May 4th at 6 p.m. Doors open for set up on Saturday at 6 am
Sale starts at 8 am, no early birds. All baked good donations should be wrapped and ready for sale. Our Auxiliary will have a table so if you need to dispose of good sellable used things bring them to us or call Kathy Lubbers 314-304-3754 to arrange pick up. We need everyone to make this a success.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE PRESENTS PROPOSED SLATE OF OFFICERS
The Nominating committee presented the slate of proposed officers at the April Business Meeting. Elections will be held in May and anyone wishing to run for an office should make it known before elections are held. The slate is as follows

BUDGET
Members Maria Gray and Heidi Barks are working with Treasurer Virginia Rafferty on the budget proposal for the 2012-2013 fiscal year. Hopefully we will be able to look it over and vote on it in May.
CONVENTION
Lady of the year, Eileen Lencz, and President Kathy Lubbers will attend the state Knights of Columbus Convention in Jefferson City Mo on April 27, 28, and 29 2012. Kathy and Eileen will give a full report at the May business meeting.
